Sofia Simone, DVM

Dr. Sofia Simone has always loved starting new adventures. She grew up near Niagara Falls and Toronto, traveled to the island of St. Kitts for veterinary school at Ross University and completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Now in Illinois, she’s excited for her journey to continue with Golf Rose.

Dr. Simone is a Level 1, 2 and 3 Fear Free Certified which means she understands how to help eliminate the fear and anxiety your pet may have at their appointment. She is also Basic and Advanced Life Support RECOVER (CPR) certified. Veterinary medicine has always been an integral part of Dr. Simone’s life, and she values her role in strengthening the human-animal bond.

In her spare time, Dr. Simone loves being outdoors and up North paddleboarding, canoeing, running and hiking. Her current adventure also includes spending time with her boyfriend (also a veterinarian) and his two cats, Cricket and Watson.
