Emily E., CVT, Assistant Technician Manager

Emily knew from a young age that she wanted to work in the animal field. She loved everything to do with animals and would spend countless hours watching Animal Planet on the TV. As a child, she didn’t know about all the career opportunities in vet med until her childhood dog, Diva, got sick. Her family would take Diva to the animal clinic weekly, and it was there that Emily’s passion to help animals grew. She promised Diva that she would pursue a lifetime of helping family pets and went on to attend Fox College to receive an Associate Degree in Applied Science. During her last semester, Emily completed an externship at Golf Rose and found a home. She received her license as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2017 and has never looked back.

During her 8 years in vet med, Emily has learned that she loves the thrill of emergency medicine. Golf Rose is a perfect fit because she works various hours to see both routine exams as well as emergencies. As Assistant Technician Manager, Emily also helps oversee the growing team of Golf Rose technicians and assistants.

In her spare time, you can find Emily with her fiancé Gage and their three cats either napping by the fireplace or working on improvements to their new home.
