Jason Szumski, DVM

When Dr. Jason Szumski realized he could combine his passion for math and science with his love for animals, he knew that becoming a veterinarian was the right path for him. Dr. Szumski received his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois where he served as class president and President of the Veterinary Business Management Association. At Golf Rose he continues to pursue those interests focusing on diagnostic medicine, surgery and leadership.

At home, Dr. Szumski loves spending time with his chocolate lab, Toni, and tuxedo cat, Spooky. In his spare time, he’s a huge sports fan. He can often be found on the basketball court, softball field and soccer field or watching his favorite Chicago sports teams – the White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks.
